Dordt University players will be coaching the teams. Players will be taught fundamental skills as well as playing in games. The Sioux Center Recreation Department will be running a flag football instructional league this fall in partnership with Dordt University Football players and Coach Penner. The Titans are a part of a small league, so they play teams from other towns including Akron, Orange City, West Sioux, and Le Mars Gehlen. The teams are formed according to grade level 3rd / 4th graders play together and 5th / 6th graders play together. This program provides kids with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of tackle football, including football skills, plays, and teamwork. The Sioux Center Titans Youth Football is for all Sioux Center students in 5th and 6th grade. Please call the All Seasons Center (712) 722-4386 for more information and to register your child. The Riptide Wrestling gives youth in the community the opportunity to participate in an organized and competitive sport.
